High Purity Slag Agent Refining Slag with Most Favorable Price
The refining agent used in steelmaking is also known as a slagging agent. A new slagging agent has been developed that effectively promotes the melting of steel slag without the addition of fluorite. This new agent also contains minimal acid oxide and can improve slagging conditions without the presence of fluorine ions. The alkaline oxide in this new slagging agent has a melting point below 1200ºC and is primarily composed of lime and iron ore powder. This product is marketed as high-quality industrial steel slag or refining slag and is suitable for use in steelmaking and furnace refining processes.

Application
(1) deoxidation: the steel slag copy deoxidation, modification, reduce the FeO, MnO content in the slag, reduce the oxidation of steel slag. According to the requirements of the steel grade and the amount of refining slag added, the oxygen in the steel should be reduced by more than 20 ~ 30ppm.
(2)desulfurization: basically calcium aluminate slag system, the refining slag has a strong desulfurization ability, CaO and sulfur reaction, calcium sulfate or calcium sulfite into the slag, thereby reducing the sulfur content in steel, under normal circumstances, the desulfurization rate can reach 30 ~ 60% or more.
(3)foaming: refining slag into slag fast, foaming submerged arc performance is good, foaming mechanism is mainly at high temperature electrode carbon or a small amount of carbon in the slag and FeO, MnO, SiO2 in the slag reduction reaction to produce CO and other bubbles.
(4)remove the impurities in the steel: with reducibility, calcium aluminate-based refining slag system, due to mixing at high refining temperature, the inclusions in the steel float and are absorbed by the refining slag.
(5)aluminum: aluminum is the main final deoxidation of steel, refining slag contains high activity and chemical activity of aluminum, can reduce the oxygen in steel.
(6)others: for nitrogen-sensitive steel grades and steel grades requiring very low nitrogen content, special refining agents should be selected.
