Application
(1) Deoxidation: Our steel slag copy deoxidation process effectively modifies and reduces the FeO and MnO content in the slag, thereby minimizing the oxidation of steel slag. To meet the specific requirements of different steel grades and the desired amount of refining slag added, our process ensures a reduction of oxygen in the steel by more than 20 ~ 30ppm.
(2) Desulfurization: Our refining slag, based on a calcium aluminate slag system, exhibits exceptional desulfurization capabilities. The reaction between CaO and sulfur results in the incorporation of calcium sulfate or calcium sulfite into the slag, effectively reducing the sulfur content in steel. Under normal circumstances, our desulfurization rate can reach an impressive 30 ~ 60% or more.
(3) Foaming: Our refining slag demonstrates excellent performance in terms of fast slag incorporation and foaming during submerged arc processes. The foaming mechanism primarily relies on the reduction reaction between high-temperature electrode carbon or a small amount of carbon in the slag and FeO, MnO, SiO2, resulting in the production of CO and other bubbles.
(4) Impurity removal: Our calcium aluminate-based refining slag system, known for its high reducibility, effectively removes impurities from the steel. By utilizing our advanced process, impurities are efficiently eliminated, ensuring the production of high-quality steel.
