Inoculants are necessary additives in the production of cast iron. A little inoculant can significantly improve the microstructure of cast iron and improve the properties of gray cast iron. Inoculants can also promote graphitization, improve the morphology and distribution of graphite, increase the number of eutectic clusters, and refine the matrix structure. The main components of Lishi alloy inoculants are silicon, aluminum, barium and calcium.

 


Ferro silicon barium contains Si, Ba, Al, Fe, steel often do deoxidizer and alloy agent, improve its strength, hardness and elasticity. It is often used as inoculant and spheroidizer in foundry industry.

In adding proper mount of silicon barium alloy plasticity and toughness can be in high improved both in high temperature and low temperature, silicon barium iron for cold resistant performance of steel is the most effective.
